Yoohooooo!

My last blog post was a day more than a month ago! Here I am, on a Sunday arvo...having absolutely nothing to do...well not exactly nothing to do. Lying on bed with a MacBook sitting on my lap, browsing blogs, online sites, FB-ing...I decided to write a post today!

It's Monday tomorrow. Monday. Monday. Monday. Ahhh what should I say about you. Oh well..iIt has never been a favourite day of mine. But words of a friend reminded me how much fun December should be! Being the last month of the year...with Christmas festive season, New Year's coming up....lots of great things & events to anticipate! So, heck Monday and YAY! to another better week!

I guess it's always this time of the year when all takes a deep breath, sit down and have a think about what the whole year has been like? Any achievements? Any learning? Rooms for growth? Plans for the new year? Promotions? Rewards? Shoppings? Catch ups? Weddings? Newborns? Deaths?? In a blink of eye, is how I'll sum up my year! It almost felt like yesterday when I returned to Melbourne in March! Before knowing it, work has gone by for 6 months and now it's the last month of the year!

Thank god, I'm lucky enough to have boo pulling through the year with me down under. Being away from my family and friends ain't an easy thing. As most of you probably would have known me better by now, I do come from a very close-knitted family. So, being away is definitely a difficult thing! Missing on family gatherings, luncheons, dinners, special occasions, holidays, travels...it's not a fun thing at all!

December is going to be a short and fun work month! With the office officially closing from 24th Dec until 4th Jan 2011, I'd say I'll only be having approximately 17 days of work! Not forgetting our work Friday Summer Hours (We get to leave work at 3pm on alternate Fridays from Nov 2010 until Jan 2011)!! Plus, Dec will pretty much be a quiet one as most people are probably away for XMas. Hence, we'll try to avoid this festive season for any advertising activities :) Don't think my client, National Australia Bank would like to advertise their home loans, credit cards and all banking products over this period! I'm pretty sure they'll like a good Christmas too!

After Xmas, there's Armin's Mirage only NYE tour. Then comes New Years 2011! A brand new year and my 27th birthday a day after! Goshhhhhh! I'll be getting my birthday day off from work! So yay! Still haven't decided which day I'll like to take but I'm thinking maybe in Feb...giving me an extra day to run all my errands and get last minute stuff before heading home for CNY for 3 weeks! So, Q1 of 2011 is definitely an exciting one for me!

Will be making a few trips back home next year. Few weddings to attend. Long Easter break in April and the boo & I are planning a trip away! It's meant to be my birthday present...so yay! Bali is top on the list. A cruise to somewhere is 2nd and maybe London? Muahahahaha travel plans are never-ending for me!

Mom and dad might make another trip down to Melbourne this XMas! Hope they'll be coming and they'll be spending my birthday with me. Thinking of visiting Vue De Monde this time. Heard a number of good reviews from them...a thought to ponder! :)

BTW, my dearest couzzies are here from KL! For around 17 days soooo yay! Lots of activities happening in oh-dear-Melbourne :P

This HAS been longggggggggggggggg overdue!

How many of you peeps out there is actually still keeping up with my blog and daily rantings? A-ha!

Let's rewind and let me story you what has happened over the past 2 months!

After mom & dad left, I finally had the guts to see a doctor! As most of you probably don't know or won't know...I found a neck lump! :( Well, not exactly found! It has been there for quite a number of years and me being superbly horrified of needles, blood, results; have been neglecting and ignoring this nice little lump silently...UNTIL, heard news from back home of an ex-colleague who found a neck lump which was AIKS malignant! *BIG GULP*

*touchwood*thank god* I went for a check up...been through blood tests, Ultra-sound scans, CT scan, dye injection, under the knife...surgery with a tube tucked under my skin...GOSH! All those drama...and after all of this, the results came out to be a Benign Tumor so HOOORAYYYYYYY! As long as everything is removed, it is almost 100% that it wouldn't spread/grow...*touchwood* Doctor Kennedy said everything was looking great. Recovery is superb. He's one helluva of a great doc who has lots of TLC for his patients! He treated me like a gem, a little kid of his own! Never failed to make me laugh when he checks on me pre & post surgery!

All I have to say is, I'm really thankful to have met such wonderful people and to have lots of blessings from my family and friends...to help me pull through the hardest moments of my life! It was that easy undergoing surgery when your family is away far from you. Thanks to great communication that brought us close together and made it felt like home was never too far away!

Just a couple of snippets of the whole surgery process and my recovery...I think the most irksome photo is the one which my stitches are still fresh from the surgery...looking horribly ugly...like it will never heal nicely...that sort...but boy was I wrong! Taking snapshots of my recovery process and reviewing them just makes me feel that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE! Just gotta stay strong and believe that things will eventually turn out better!

A positive vibe was what I was trying to have throughout the days...

As my neck lump was sitting on my saliva gland, I had to have the "stuck" saliva sucken out by a syringe! That sounds scary isn't it? Honestly speaking, i'm not that afraid of needles as I used to be anymore. I guess its really true of the saying "What doesn't kill me, will only make me stronger!"

Ah well..enough of my dramatic surgery stories! haha

On a much brighter note that fits in to my "colourful" life...we all brought Bubbles home! A new pup which the whole household absolutely adoreeeeeeeesss!

WHY Bubbles? Haha it took us quite a while to decide on a pups name! From Bella to Kelsey to MissT to Bubbly to... x1000000000 god knows how many names!

Finally decided on Bubbles after a couple of days! This new pup got to have a name...so WHY Bubbles!

My explanation goes..."Because...Bubbles is a Maltese X Shihtzu that is Champagne i colour...and Champagne being Champagne...lots of bubbles...like bloob blooob bloob bloob bloob...hahahahhahaha and bubbles being bubbles...OK I don't think i'm making any sense here but Bubbles, the name just suits bubbles and her bubbly character! Haha such a cutie!

A very smart cutie! In just 2 weeks, Bubbles is trained to sit, give her hand, down and roll over! APPLAUSE! Bubbles nailed everything in just 2 weeks! We are the superbly proud owners! Potty training Bubbles was a drama at first! How many screams, NOs, BUBBLES were going around the house, but NOW, we're all proud to say that Bubbles can pee and poo at the right spot on her own! Without having us to lead her! Applauseeeeeee & Bravo!

That's it of Bubbles for now! I will be taking Bubbles out on her first road trip tomorrow! Off to Phillip Island we go! A 3d2n road trip planned with the group of boys & girls for fishing, for bonding sessions, for BBQ, for happiness, for laughter...awesome! Can't wait for all of it to happen...

Again, this has very much became my monthly post it seems!

What have I been doing for the past month! Gosh. I don't even have my heart with this blogspot like before anymore! How come! Sigh, I can't seem to find time or should I say, I can't seem to find things to blog about.

Spent the whole Sunday downloading Chinese songs and discussing old songs with King. LOL!That fella really cracks me up. He never fails to pass me good old songs! hahaha like Super duper old that sort! Perhaps my grandma's era but yet nice songs! One heck of an old fella! :)

August! August! August! It is ending like pretty soon but I have to say, it has been a very productive month for me. Filled with many beautiful surprises.Mom and Dad was here earlier this month. Had the most fantastic time for quite a long while now. Had so much of good food andgood time. Short trip to Adelaide meeting Enzo & family was awesome. Checked out theirbeautiful beach-side-holiday-home; fully equipped with a nice kitchen, room space, gameroom and a boat! Definitely a happy month for me this year. Here's a sneak peek of Adelaide.

I don't know why but this time i'm back here working in Aussieland, I realized that I misses home even more than my uni days! I can't seem to find the connection I used to have with this city/country anymore.

Its either the sign of aging OR the company I used to have in Melbourne. It's no longer the party party party lifestyle, but instead I have been living a very very domesticated lifestyle. It's all about work, coming home, cooking, have pot lucks, picnics, gatherings, dinners...it just ain't the old YeeLeng anymore! I haven't partied for like the longest time ever. Not even tempted to party or drink like before. Arghhhh is this a good sign or bad? I start to question myself and until today, I still can't seem to find an appropriate answer to the changes in my life.

I honestly enjoy a much quieter lifestyle now. No more bang bang bang kind of lifestyle. No more dramas. No more crying out loud nights over silly relationship problems. I seek a different pace of life now. I think of different things now. I aim for different achievements now. I think about my career path. I think business. I think family. I think settling down. I think about learning how to appreciate family and friends around even more. I do think a hell lot don't I? Hahaha, oh well...part of growing up. Never too late to pick yourself up at any point of life and have self-improvements.

I really do miss home alot now. As I type...I cannot stop thinking how much I miss home. Having your family around you is one of the best feelings ever. The opportunity to travel together is even better. My parents & sis are going to Shanghai for the expo this Hari Raya. I was meant to join them, but I decided to save all my leaves for a longer trip back for CNY. A festive season that I cannot miss. What's more when my dad's birthday falls in that month and my cousin LiLi's wedding as well. Ooooo and darling's promise to take me to Bali for a getaway as my 2011's b-day present. Haha, I am definitely looking forward to that. Have to say no to the expo, as much as I'd love to go.

As much as I miss home, like YueWeng said...with very advanced communication technologies nowadays....with Facebook, Whatsapp...you'll never feel as far away to home like before. I have to say Whatsapp has definitely bring me alot closer to home. With the video technology, Skype, webcam etc...gosh, I feel almost like home again! I am here in Aussieland for a purpose! A very well purpose. So, hang on there YL! It's probably just 1-2 more years and for the sake of keeping your PR! You can do it girl! Self-motivating is the key to happiness! :)

Let's look on the brighter side! Dad got us a new car when he came here earlier this month. A totally unexpected and spontaneous decision. An impulsive purchase I call it. Dad drove the car to Mt Dandenong and came back saying that he thinks that our 4-year-old car is not "that" good anymore. So, mom and I happily went shopping with the bf, bro, dad and my uncle went "car-browsing". Little did I know that their 1hr "car-browsing" ended up into a "car-purchasing" day...LOL! It was literally like a decision made in 60mins kind of outing...hmmm can't complain. Cos we've got a new car! So thank you mom & dad! :)

The bro and I bought a new iPhone 4 too. Dad, sis and bro bought iPad as well! So just imagine. We Apple-maniacs! hahaha my iPhone 3G I have to say is still pretty good, but I just couldn't resist the iPhone 4. Ooooops. Life is meant to be colourful ma...isn't it? hahahahahahahaha got myself a new bag too. It is definitely a colourful August but also a spendthrift month. New phone. New bag. Mom's present. Sister's b-day!

Really gotta start saving up for our trip too! Darling and I are thinking of renting one of those villa's in Bali. Really hope that our trip will be happening. Still quite a number of things to plan and think of.

Let's keep it up and look forward!!!!! Work hard. Save money. Work towards my dream and our goals :)

Alrighteys. Hopefully the next time I'd update is not 1 month later. I'll try to keep up and update as frequent as I could. I know I say this on every blog post. But I will honestly try my best.

Wheeeee! I'm totally excited! WHY? Becauseeeeeeee I'm expecting the arrival of an itemmmmmmmmmmm which I have long awaited for! ;) Got a text last night to say that it has been purchased! Now it's the waiting game and I literally can't wait! OMG OMG OMG! LOL...

After not seriously blogging for quite sometime...I now feel that I've once again lost touch on how-to-blog! What words should I be using? What should I be saying? What should I blog about? My mind is blog-blank for a split second!

I need to get back on track! This is probably the one and only space for me to rant and for my friends to get an update about my life in Melbourne!

Mom and Dad is arriving this Thursday! Wooooots! For about 2 weeks and we will be off to Adelaide for the weekend! First time traveling down south...though i've heard lots of boring comments about this place...it's all good! I am still very much into my traveling-around-the-world mission! Haha, anywhere anytime....never say NO to traveling! What's more when it's with your parents! You kinda get the best of both worlds! :D

So, Adelaideeee here we come!

Not forgetting Barossa! It's the wine capital of Australia, a place where you can get a real taste for the finer things in life!

Definitely a good breakaway from work and Melbourne!

Sadly to know, I won't be meeting my parents and sis in Shanghai, September this year for the expo! Flights were all very full to fly from Sydney/Melbourne. I have instead decided to save up my annual leaves for about 3-4 weeks break during CNY next year! Yes I know, that may sound a bit too far away...but planning ahead is always good! What's more it's dad's birthday on Valentine's day and cousin sister's wedding a day after!

Oh well...pros and cons! You just can't seem to have the best of both worlds ALL the time! Sacrifices has to be made and I've made mine...so no-go Shanghai! :( I think the last time I was in Shanghai, it was back in 2001? Geez! 9 years and I love that city! It's amazing! Ahhhh enuff! I shall not bitch!

Let's see what else I CAN look forward to over here!

YES! It's ARMIN ONLYYYYYYYYYY this NYE! Can't wait for his tour! What's more when it's on New Year's Eve and its at Etihad Stadium! This is definitely gonna be massive! OMG! Now, this IS something to at least look forward to... :)

Anyone interested? I will need to buy the tickets early! :P

Oleeeee Ole Ole Ole...Oleeeeee Ole!

So....how's the World Cup frenzy/fever treating everyone? Many wins? Losses? Late-nights?

Well, since the day it started, it has been pretty exciting for me! Lots of late nights despite work the next day. This year's world cup seems to be alot more exciting for me simply because i'm more "involved" in it...be it just watching, betting, cheering, supporting the game! You can't seem to escape the whole soccer frenzy when you live with a brother who is a soccer fanatic AND a boyfriend who also can't live without futsal/soccer...World Cup is just the hot topic of everyone's conversations!

So who's your favourite team? I have always been supporting England BUT knowing them, you'll end up being disappointed most of the time! :( Spain is my other fav team. Torres is in it and he's got a new haircut! Totally not him anymore! He does not have the cartoon-fairytale-prince-charming look anymore!

Every minute counts in the soccer games and I realized that World Cup is FULL of surprises without a doubt! The strongest team could be playing lousy like shit and the lousiest team could be playing hell as good! LOL!

Let's put aside soccer for now! Hahaha let's tune in to my oh-so-happening-life in Aussieland, down under....hahaha nah, it's not that interesting after all..

The boyfriend has been attempting to cook and bake ever since he's touched down in Australia! Back home, he has NEVER or WOULD possibly enter the kitchen to cook a meal. Now that he has the whole kitchen to himself at Melbourne...he's been practicing to become a good chef! So far, he has attempted to make Quiche and Chocolate Cakes from scratch and I gotta say that i'm pretty amazed with the outcome! It actually tasted good for a first/second attempt! Especially when it's from someone who doesn't even know how cook or bake!

Wow, it's been close to a month since I last blogged...

Where should I even begin? So much has happened since I last blogged and hell yea, May indeed was a very busy month for me...I didn't even have the time to sit down all by myself and get my own things done!

You must be wondering, what in the world was I busy with! Well, to start off, my aunt came for a visit, then it was Nic for a month, then my sister & her bf for 2 weeks. Just imagine, the number of times eating out...the endless short travel trips, and not forgetting, it's winter SALE time!Everyday after work, I would just be meeting them in the city for late night shopping, thendinner...and there goes 1 day...for close to a month, the routine went on...until the day Nic left!

So, here I am now...having more time on my own...I shall take this opportunity to rewind on the fortunate events that happened...

Without a doubt, I had alot of goodies brought from Malaysia. Thanks to those special ppl...I had my monthly supply of cosmetic goods, hair care products, toiletries, new clothes, food from Malaysia...yummy yummy...Then, it was shopping time! Sis being the evil...nah I shouldn't say that....more like the "tempter"...hahaha she tempted me with so many shopping items, I ended up getting a new jacket, new wallet, new clothes, new boots....and on and on....

We had our Freedom beds delivered too! So, there was alot of cleaning up and throwing stuff away happening...We packed and gave away countless amount of bags for the Salvation Army...clothes...trust me, it was just never-ending!

Then we had our must-have-Mt Dandenong-trip and Peninsula Hot Springs this time! Loved that place though the hot springs was just not hot enuff for me....We had a fantabulous time over there...definitely worth a 2nd visit...

With work, things are slowly falling into place...as mentioned in my previous post, I love the work culture to bits! Love iteven more when colleagues start asking you if you wanted a drink at 4pm! Even better when they asks you at 5.30pm sharp "Aren't you going home yet?"....Tell me about work life balance...I truly understand the meaning here! Unlike Malaysia...hate it so much when you are about to leave at 6pm sharp, people start giving you the glare and if they wanted to be a meanie, they will go like "Wahhh so early go home, no need to work ar? Finish work already aR?"...I mean WTFFFFFF right? You don't have a life... I do....

We had a little celebration at around 3pm at work just the day before. With rounds of champagne and muffins treat! Very much only for the NAB (National Australia Bank)team...which I'm part of! *applause* Simply because NAB decided to renew another 3-year contract with us...so that means, more business to come! Woohooo!

Besides work, so glad that it's Friday tomorrow! Then it's yay to the Queen's Birthday Long weekend along with the World Cup Fever!!!! I'm sure there will be more happenings to come! Simply excited and can't wait to kick back, relax and chill!

Daddy is bringing the family to Singapore and accommodate themselves at one of the Universal Studio hotels! Eshhhhh and I won't be part of it...I hate it when they all have all these lovely family plans to travel and I'm out of it! I feel left out and when I asked dad why didn't he bring me along...he answered "Ohhh, cause I want to bring you to the Shanghai expo inSeptember!"....Now, this is why I love my Daddy so much! muahahahahahhahahha...he always has better plans for me :P Can't wait for it to come true!

I loveeeeeeee traveling and I don't think I can ever live without traveling! Was planning to get the so-called-cheap-Air-Asia-flight-tickets-from-Melbourne-to-London-for-AUD240-return...but unfortunately and AS USUAL....the seats were sold out! A colleague joked that we'll never be able to get the tickets cos maybe for every plane, they only give out 1-miserable-ticket! I had a good laugh and at the same time thought that it's very very true!

On another note, the boo and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Ezard the other night...the food was one of Melbourne Good Food Guide's recommendation with 2 hats...well, not too bad....food was ok, something different...but I think you can get better one... :)

Alright...just when I thought I have some time on my own, the bell rang...and I have guests! Gotta head off now! Till I update soon again! :)

Ooooops seems like i've been neglecting my blog once again!

Hahaha anyway, the past week has been quite a busy one for me! As some of you probably have already known, i've gotten a job and YES, it is again back to the media industry! I loveeee it! So, it was my first week at work since Tuesday...work has been great so far. Work colleagues are awesome...work environment is even better!

Just imagine having an opened concept work place + nice people around ... and what makes it better??? We get unlimited supply of beer, wine (red + white), champagne, flavoured water, carbonated drinks, daily fresh fruits, a super duper uber nice coffee machine, the choice of milo, chamomile tea, green tea, english breakfast tea, chocolate powder, biscuits, snacks, chocolate bars and not forgetting the year long supply of Nestle ice-cream!!!

What more could you ask for? Drinks started at 4pm on Friday! Everyone's desk was just filled with alco! Me being a newbie, we kinda had an orientation where another newbie and I had to go around asking every colleague if they wanted any drinks, and mind you, we gotta serve them as well! We were walking around in a trolley! Gosh! But that was absolutely fun! I really do love the work culture here..

Back home, whenever the clock strikes 6pm and you wanna leave...everyone will give you the "glare" and asks "Wahhhh you go home so early? Finish work ar?? =__________=".... but for here, when the clock strikes 5.30pm, everyone will ask you "You're not going home yet?"...With the current exchange rates and all...it makes me alot happier to be earning wages in Aussie dollars! Even if I don't compare, dollar to dollar, I still get paid better!

LOL...I guess, I won't be going back to Malaysia for a while...not at least until, i've gotten some overseas experience...which i've always been targeting to do!

On Friday, it was also our office's Bake Club Day! This apparently happens weekly where a couple of the rostered colleagues have to bake or make something from scratch to make every one happy!

So ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaa! This is what they made! A choo-choo-train cake! With lollies and chocolates on it! How awesome is that?

It's only the first week of work and I can't stop praising what a fantastic work environment I have! Let's see what's gonna happen in the upcoming weeks! I'll probably be cursing left right for the work load...haha but then again, how could anyone possibly complain about the work load when you have so many other facilities to motivate an employee?!?

Furthermore, clients here ARE demanding...but they'll understand what is called "ON HOLD" or a tight deadline which they have to abide by!

I think in Malaysia and handling Samsung account, you will never ever get that! The clients would only think "I want it NOW, when I demand!"...

Oh well, that's life!

Besides work, we've spent the last weekend celebrating darling's 28th birthday and I prepared steamboat + BBQ for him. Had some friends over, few drinks, mahjong session and a surprise with cake...so yea! that was it :)...Some photos will do the talk...

Several months back, I've gotten ChuiLing's help to purchase a gift for boo for his b-day this year...knowing that his belt has almost gone from bad to broken LOL, i decided to get him a belt this year! So, there it is...safe kept for several months...just for today! So, ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa booo! Hope you like it :)We will be having a steamboat + BBQ party at home tonight to celebrate for boo...Hopefully he'll enjoy himself in a totally environment this year! Cos I know being away from home for the first time during his b-day ain't easy...

Today marks the 1st of May. In just a months time, it will be the start of the 2nd half 2010! Gosh. How time flies...What have I achieved so far? Haha I would say nothing! It has just been holidaying months for me since January! Oooopsss...not a very good thing ain't it!

Today, the 1st of May also marked the day which I encountered one of the most horrifying and unbelievable day of my life. A day with a series of unfortunate events which was created intentionally by an immature person who never learnt and never chose to grow. Anyway, I do not blame anyone for what happened. In fact, I shouldn't even be bothered by what this person has done to try sabotage my life, thinking that it would make me feel more miserable! Haha, hell no and I don't care. I honestly don't care. Even if this person reads my blog, laugh at me, whatever...I'm cool with it, cos deep down inside, I know I have done my best at it and can firmly stand strong to say "No regrets and I'm not looking back"...

After all, this is MY blog, MY world, MY life, MY freedom of speech. Nobody is gonna take control of my happy living! I made a choice to move on and be happy! My life is the sum of all of my own choices...

I think if I ever chose to go on commenting and fighting back, its just gonna be an endless war. What makes it more dumb is when this person has a "toxicated" guidance...hahaha I can only sit back and laugh! Pointless.

A friend once said "Fighting back, is only partaking. Moving forward is upping your standard"...

After much persuasion from my dearest friends...I've decided to blog again!

Answering to that... YES, I am bored overseas...a lot more thinking time to myself, a lot less things to do... well, don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining about Melbourne! Hell NO! Melbourne is my 2nd home and I love it to bits! Don't ask me why i'm blogging again, but I just "FELT" like it....hahahahha

Anyway, this time around...I gave my blog a whole NEW look! No more sad stories, no more dramas and crying ~~over that same guy~~ for years! No more looking back to regret what I have or have not done!!!

This time around, I'd love to blog about my colours-filled world! Hence, the blogskin that reflects with many colours...simply because I think that life has so much more meaning to it, besides just being dull and crying every other day, feeling sad about so many unhappy things! Looking back, I think i've grew and learnt alot since the accident, 5 years ago! Sometimes, I do fear....not fearing that the whole incident happened...but fearing that what if I didn't wake up on that very day? Coma for 2 days? OMG, now, that is what I FEAR! The fear of not waking up ever again! *shivers*sobs* but NOOOOOOOOO, I gotta stand up right and stay positive to be a HAPPY me! Move forward and not look back!!! No doubt that it has made me a lot more positive-thinking, appreciative of life...and yea, like the saying "What doesn't kill me, only made me stronger!!!"

Moreover, how can one not love colours? I loveeeeeeeeeee it! Doesn't it make you feel happier by just looking at it? Imagine a world without colours! I don't know about you, but I'll just die! haha I found this quote somewhere which I think is really nice...

"When you have a rainbow deep down in your heart, your smile will shine bright. You know you're a part of that colorful, magical, feeling you'll find, when you have a rainbow inside."

So, what do you think? Ain't it true? At least, I would like to think that my smile is shining bright everyday!

This first entry after such a while is definitely marking the next chapter of MY life.

Whenever it's a special day, and even when it's not...You're someone whom I appreciate & think about alot. I'm once again blogging from work...

A couple of reasons as to why I blog at work. One of it cos of the much faster internet connection. Another cos i'm freaking still stuck at work right now at 10.30pm!!!

YES YES YES! I know its super duper uber late...but our pitch is due tomorrow! Presentation is tomorrow and we're still busy preparing for it. Ugh. I really hate this feeling and I kinda had enuff!

On a much brighter note, I managed to attend Freedom Elite on Saturday. The team all had individual plans. Thus, all allowed to go home as early as 6pm on a Saturday. 6pm ain't that early after all i guess...given it's the weekend...sigh sigh. Anyhoo, at least I had my fair share of fun at Freedom Elite with FREE flow of alcohol all night long, alongside with Scot Project. Was dead tired at the event...but camwhoring was a necessity.

Also many thanks and great thanks to a very nice boss of mine...who rewarded us a FREE day off for our hard work...hard work with our pitch! So, I chose Monday off...which means I get a long weekend and an opportunity to travel with the family to Penang!

So, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...a good travel to look forward to! When I get back from my short getaway, it will be less than 2 weeks to Melbourne!

I just love year ends and beginning of the year! Don't we all do?

Sigh...guess now it's back to work! Blogging is probably my best break from work for a while...

I'm drained...totally drained and exhausted!!!

Imagine yourself being at work since Tuesday and it's Saturday now...a freaking weekend and I'm stuck at work. 9 am EVERYDAY till 12 Midnight every single day...it's all about work work work work and work.

I just had enuff and felt the necessity of venting my sorrows...my exhaustion...my energy...it's all becoming limited. Very very limited.

Everything seems to be so minimal and I really mean MINIMAL! The amount of time I see my family and friends. I'm just stuck in this conference room with 4-5 laptops and junk food flying all over...the mess we created...you just imagine what a stressful environment we're stuck in! It may not be stressful to the rest..but it it VERY for me!

To make things worse? The constant reminder from Freedom Elite about the upcoming event tonight which I might not be able to attend just wouldn't make me feel any better. In fact, its killing me! I so freaking need a break! Even just for beer is good enuff! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I just cannot take this any much longer and I'm whining like a bitch 'ere at work!

I know I know, everyone is telling me...to look on the brighter side that everything is gonna be over by Tuesday. Think of the increment! Think of the bonus paid for our great effort...but still...I'm at the edge of a breaking point! thank god for this blog which gives me space to vent my anger/frustration. It certainly helps.

Gosh. I just need a really good break now. Please let me go home early today, bosses, team mates...so that I can attend Freedom Elite!

I just realized...it's been quite a long while since I last updated.

I just don't have the urge to update this blog of mine anymore. I kinda feel that I wanna keep it low and give my life a little sense of privacy lately.

However, after talking to a dear friend of mine...who thinks that I should continue writing my blog...For this friend of mine, this time, I am updating my blog once again. You know I love you that's why I'm doing this for you! LOL! By all means, I love you Cien Then! *wink*

I'm on the other hand also bored at work. With having almost absolutely nothing to do...I'm only facebooking, reading blogs, listening to my all-time favourite songs, yakking my way on msn with friends, colleagues...gossiping, what else more could I be doing? Blogging it would be.

Let's see where I shall begin my updates from...my last blog was updated on August 19th...that's merely 2 months plus before.

Let's start with work. My work has been great so far...in less than a week, I have worked through my 6 months of my probation period. Which means, I shall await confirmation! Spoke to the boss the other day, everything seems fine and dandy...so hopefully, fingers crossed...confirmation = pay rise! Other than this very exciting factor, work has been pretty much on the good side. Enjoying myself here...enjoying what I'm doing. So, that's all a good sign. Being in the media industry, my exposure is great! Meeting very interesting people, getting the opportunity to attend great function/events...

On another note, my dearest grandma passed away about a month ago... the one whom I've been living with my whole life...since the day I was born. The family is still pretty much still mourning her loss. Can't do anything big for 100 days. Can't celebrate birthdays. Can't attend weddings most importantly. I can't attend Peng's wedding too which will happen this Sunday. Gonna miss out quite a bit but it's ok...Gonna have to keep it low for a bit. I stopped partying...been staying home pretty much. Thus, nothing much to update about.

It was Deepavali weekend few days back. A few dear friends of mine and I decided to do a spontaneous road trip to Langkawi...the land of booze. It was a pretty good getaway...to escape from the hectic life of KL. Will let the photos do a little bit of talking...

the trip was really a good one. Had fun. Looking forward to more upcoming spontaneous trips and events.

Next up would be relatives visit from HK! End of November. The parents are thinking of bringing them to Langkawi again. We shall see. Then, will be heading down to Melbourne in December...for about 10 days for bro's graduation...and planning to skydive with Mr. MarCiano! hehe will be back in time for Christmas, New Year's Eve and my 25th...

It will be passed 100th days by then, so should be alright to start going out again after grandma's loss. But like mom said, grandma loves us...so,whatever we do, grandma will always be looking after us. We're all glad that she's in a better place now...You'll always be missed grandma.

2009 is nearing. In about 2 months time. Time of the year again to recap and think what my new year's resolution would be! Lots more to look forward to! Bangkok in April 2009! Confirmation of work! More savings, more spontaneous trips! All these series of very fortunate events keep me going and being a happier person myself! 2008 has been a life-changing experience for me. From the loss of a very long term relationship, to the loss of my beloved grandma...I'm glad that things are looking much greater now! Alot brighter...and I shall continue to be a happier person!

Alright...and so I said that I was gonna go for lunch...NOPE! I've not gone for lunch yet. Still waiting for Daniel who happens to work really really nearby me and YES, he's much lunch buddy for today! =) Just to elaborate my previous post regarding why I'm this FREE to blog and facebook and etc etc...is cos my WHOLE company is actually closed for about 6 days..cos most of them are happily enjoying the company trip in Tokyo, Japan while WE the newbies missed out on a chance to travel with them! *sobs* but at the same time...yay! Cos I have absolutely NOTHING to do at work...and I have ALL the time in the world to blog, upload photos, facebook, watch TVB series and DO whatever I like! so wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee on the brighter side! hehe

Overall, a very eventful 2 weekends with lots of fun and great company. Thanks for the support and all generous advices that made me realize alot of better things in life. Thanks for always being there to guide me through my journey of life. I've learnt alot. Through thick and thin, nothing beats the comfort you get from your family and friends whom you know will always be around to make you stand up and stay strong again after your down moments. Thank you so so so so so so much and I'm so glad to have all of you to bring me through one of my hardest phase in life.

p/s: all my updates are so far the "up" moments...and I promised to update a lil about my "down" moments. Me and Dinson are no longer together. Reason being? Maybe it's best left unsaid or best to ask him yourself. I'm tired of the excuses. Tired of the reasons given for a break up. If this is what he thinks will be better for the both of us OR IF he thinks that he no longer can be with me...this time around, I dare to say that I stand STRONG and will be moving forward. NO, not will be...it's ALREADY moving forward. I only want to be a happier person and I believe that I can be with/without him. Alrighteys...I have been missing in action for quite a bit now. Thus, leaving this blog with NO updates...and under the "request" of somebody...I've decided to give this blogspot a little touch and update you peeps with the bits and pieces of my life. Hmmmm where should I even begin. The ups of my life? OR the downs of my life? I guess, I'll start off with the ups...as I believe the downs will only be a temporary issue, while the ups will always be my greatest memories! =)

First up! 2 Days of Freedom with Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Cosmic Gate @ Admiral Marina Port Dickson. One of those few good rave events happening in Malaysia. 2 days of great company and great music! What's more to ask for? Ferry Corsten on the first night was alright only but Cosmic Gate + Tiesto on the 2nd and last night was the bomb! The music and crowd was rocking!

This blogspot has been left alone for a lil more than a month now...

Under the influence,demand and persuasion of a few dear friends, i've decided to give it a little brush and update it once again. This post will be touching a lil bit of everything that has been happening throughout the time that i've been missing from blogging. LOL.

First of all...

I got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just collected my appointment letter this afternoon. Waiting to be signed. Bank account associated with the company to be set up and a pre-employment medical check-up to be done with the company's panel doctor. I'll be working as a junior media planner as a start for Starcom Mediavest. Starcom MediaVest Group is one of the largest brand communications groups in the world, encompassing an integrated network of architects specializing in media management, internet + digital communications, response media, entertainment marketing, sports sponsorships, event marketing and multicultural media.

Will be starting work in May...due to the fact that I will be heading off to Fukuoka, Japan on the 24th of April till 30th April with the family...and i'm definitely NOT missing out on dropping by at Bangkok for a coupla of days from 3oth April till May 3rd. So wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....i still have about a month to enjoy and mentally prepare myself for work! The work environment is really casual...so it's a good thing! Looking forward to lots of fun, learning experiences and dreading lonngggg working hours! LOL! Work by week is 5 working days 9am to 6pm...however, I have to expect overtime and maybe work on Saturday...but it's all good. Am really looking forward to join this organisation!!!

About Japan....that's the bomb!! What's more with Bangkok! Shopping. Shopping. Shopping! Not forgetting, its an all-expenses paid trip with the parents! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

On a lighter note, a coupla of days after I start work....i'll be heading down to Port Dickson for a short weekend trip to for Tiesto 2 Days of Freedom rave!!!!!!! I should be quite confirmed. About 85% now? hehe so yay!!!!!!!! lots of fun and camwhoring soon....

Other than this three major issues that has been happening in my journey of life...every week, every day has been pretty much the same...its' all about eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping...haha don't know when i'll turn into an official pig...but yea...it's all about bumming. Enjoying good food, good places, good ambiences, good company, good clubs, good photos, good memories....and it goes on and on for a bummer like me! Anyhoo, i'll be a bummer no more in a months time! It's about time to get down and dirty with serious work! An ambitious Capricorn I am....soooooooo, definitely looking forward to new challenges in life! Wish me luck peeps!

My favourite blue bag...

Am super duper uber happy today!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Went to Pavillion to shop for the first time since I got back...first time walking around the shops and enjoying the nice new shops. Definitely a place worth my time for a second visit. Went with the aunt and the sis...and me got my little blue bag!! My fav!!! As my belated presents from the loved ones...*grin*

It took me a long long time to decide which accessories to get...as I have quite a number of them, and the sis has quite a fair bit tooo....so after much thoughts and considerations...i decided to get another bracelet attached with a lock charm,a belated birthday present from the aunt...while the sis on the other hand got me a "return to tiffany" heart-shaped charm as promised....wheeeeee can't wait to collect all my favourite charms and personalize my very own tiffany charm bracelet....

Am absolutely loving my new tiff accessories...adding to my very own collection! Thanks heaps to the aunt and the sis! Love you long long time!!! Muahahahahha

Backstreet's back alright!!!Hahahahhahahahah Am going for Backstreet Boy's Unbreakable World Tour this Wednesday 27th February 2008!!! Home on a Friday night...blogging like finally after quite a while...

Ugh. This feeling at home ain't that great. All I can say now is that I'm not exactly the happiest person on earth at the moment...

Just imagine...time after time...its all about disappointments. Nothing's changed. No efforts made. Am so sick of the "see hows lah"..."tired lah"..."lazy lah"..."you never changed"..."f**k you"..."damn farn gum la"...

Sometimes, I just don't understand...why the world seems much nicer in Melbourne. All these never seem to happen in Melbourne and it ONLY happens when I'm back in Malaysia. I'm honestly so sick and tired. So tired of being hung up on each and everything.

Chinese New Year preparations

In just another 2 days, it's Chinese New Year! To those who aren't aware, Chinese New Year is celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese. Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had a strong influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbours, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. Wheeeee! So excited...with so much to look forward to! Food and reunion dinners! Wheeee...Lots of last minute things to do! Did my manicure today and I painted it red with some nail art, all getting ready for the CNY mood! Gonna have my facial at 6pm! hehehe feel so pampered! Love it! Might join mom for last minute shopping later...as she hasn't gotten enuff clothes for the brand new year! hehe ohh guess what, the grandma was asking if we bought any cheong sam for the lil pup first thing when I woke up today! thus, the parents and I drove down all the way to Pudu just to get the spoiled lil pup a cheongsam! OMG! So cute! will post a photo of the pup wearing it later! Ooooo on another note, the sis and I did the deco for our home...

As our yearly tradition...dad will host an open house, inviting all family and friends over to celebrate this big day! We live with our grandma, which makes it merrier every year cos all relatives come to our house instead of us visiting them! So, yay! CNY is important in our family itself. The dad treasure family values alot, thus, we love CNY! haha it's the most happening time of the year where the family gathers together, for food, visiting, catch-ups, gambling...etc etc... its' just fun fun fun! hehehe

Lion dance shows as well on the first day! Dad hires lion dancers every year, so you can imagine how merry Chinese New Year is for us! New clothes. New shoes. New bags. New. New. New! Everything is fantabulous during CNY! I will definitely keep you peeps posted with photos as soon as I can. So, stay tuned!

I'm home!!!

Just realized that I haven't been updating this 'left-aside' blog for close to 10 days now. LOL. Being back home just make it alot harder to keep updating...cos of a coupla of good reasons! haha no. 1, the internet is almost 24 times slower than the one I use back in Melbourne. no. 2, I've been a lil jet-lagged getting used to and adapting to a whole different environment. no. 3, there's so much of catching ups to do with family and friends. no. 4, i've been busy unpacking, tidying and sorting out my stuff, presents. no. 5, i've only been back for 3 days now and there seems to be NOT enuff time to do all the things I had time to do in Aussieland! haha

anyhooooooo, gonna keep this post short and simple. Just letting ya peeps know that i'm safe and sound back in KL...having the time of my life. Enjoying the great company. The good food. The family gatherings. Most importantly...

The belated birthday, christmas presents AND souvenirs!!! Being home sweet home is just ... ahhhhhhhhhhhh a bliss!!!

I've got mail!!!

Got home from work, checked the mailbox...I was left a note by Australia Post notifying me that I've got an International Signature Article waiting for me to collect...I hurried to the post office, anxiously waiting to collect my parcel...thinking who could it be from and what's this all about? Got the parcel. Still did not know who it's from but I was only guessing...saw the location from where it was sent...I wasn't certain..but still guessing...
and YES!!! it's from THEM! the lovely Jolyne and WaiSoon dearie!!! awwwwwwwwwwww so sweet of you both darlings for sending me a birthday gift all the way from London! I'm sooooooooooooooo touched! When I opened the gift, I was stunned! Sooooooooooooooooo happy!

I turned 24.

OMG. That's like almost a quarter of the life! LOL. Old me. Getting older. Again, this year's birthday was a whole new experience cos' its the FIRST time I spent it away from home. Being overseas with few close friends to celebrate the birthday ain't as happening as back home where I have all my friends and family. Anyhoo, it wasn't bad celebrating it here at all. Just a quiet day, spending quality time with few close ppl. Treated the bf and a few close friends for dinner at Nobu Restaurant (a Robert De Niro owned)...and had a great night! Food was as usual yummylicious! I'll let the photos do the talking...hehe...The work colleague Greg shouted me dimsum for lunch.

On the first day of 2008...

went to the beach! LOL. We took a drive down to St. Kilda beach...

It was a nice summer day out to the beach about 5 mins drive away from me home and to start year 2008 fresh and anew. With moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds, the weather was perfecto for a day out by the beach. Was meant to be at the top of 41 degree, but the chilly sea breeze contributed to a great summer day out! Absolutely loving this sorta summer weather! How would it be summer loving without camwhoring? LOL! Enjoy!

Happy 2008!!!

How was your countdown to 2008? Mine was different this year. A totally different experience from last year. Being away from home, from family and friends. A great experiece with fantabulous fireworks! Commendable fireworks that are heaps better and lasts heaps longer than those back home in Malaysia! LOL! Went around couple of places for the countdown and the fireworks view along Yarra River in Melbourne City was magnificent. By far one of the best I've ever seen. Overall, a great way to end 2007 and a great start to 2008!

8 hours of shopping on boxing day very well damaged me bank account...LOL but it's all worth it and satisfying! hahaha walked and walked and walked and walked...haven't shopped so much in such a longgggggggg time! Retail therapy does the job so well for girls like me. hahahaha obviously, I did not splurge ALL my money on gifts for myself! hehe bought stuff for me self, the family, the bf, and some presents for ppl...

If you noticed...the LV is not for me...it's me sister's belated birthday present from mummy dearest. haha i love my mom. When i was buying my sister's bag today...I got a msg from the mom saying "If you like LV bag, choose one for your birthday also lar..." ... wahahhahahaha mummy so nice! BUT BUT BUT, i didn't find a nice bag...cos my sister has MOST of the nice bags already! So, obviously I can't buy the same...*bah* anyway, here are my satisfying goodies...LOL! so much to buy! One day didn't seem enuff for me!!!

Merry Merry Christmas ALL!!!

It has been a quiet Christmas for me so far...being away from home for Christmas ain't easy after all. Feel the loneliness but thanks to all the greatest technology nowadays...it puts my loneliness aside! So, wheeeeeeeeeee....received many many SMSes, phone calls, MSN msgs from around the world! During odd weeee hours. Well, more like M'sian time. haha bear in mind it's 3 hours different...season greetings from all my beloved family, friends and loved ones.

Though I'm seperated by the distance, I feel them so close at heart! I'm so touched and it's absolutely amazing! The friends msged. The parents called. The aunts, the uncles called. First was early morning when mom called, I was at work. YES, i worked today cos its double pay! Had an early shift...so I ended pretty early. Around lunch time *smiles*

Chat with the mom for a bit. Wishing me merry christmas. Telling me that i'll be getting my Christmas present belated...hehe told mom about the massive boxing day sale tomorrow...mom "encouraged" me to shop! She was like..."Yea, go shopping tomorrow! Do your Christmas + CNY shopping"... and i'm like wheeeeeeeeeeee YES YES YES, i WILL go...no doubt about that!

then a call from the uncle and aunt...with my three darling angels Ern, Hui, Myn!!! So good to hear their voices again. I'm glad I'm missed. hehe. I'm promised my belated Christmas presents from them too! LOL...and having my birthday just 8 days away, I asked mom and the relatives IF i could have like a DOUBLE present? hahaha like Christmas + Birthday?? haha knowing my lovely family...they will never say no! So, YES. Mom said its ok and asked "Since when do we NOT get something we want?"....wheee wheee wheee. My Christmas mood is totally lifted up!

Then came the call from dad! To wish me and ask how I'm doing. Obviously, I was super duper happy! Cos I'm blessed with all these warmth season greetings in despite of the great distance we're seperated by! So wheeeeeeeee dad said that Christmas present will be belated too! haha also found out from the dad that the bro bugged him about getting a LCD TV for our home in Melbourne...cos the bro's got new Ps3...so obviously, a LCD tv would be perfecto for him! Dad actually asked me to check out the prices and he CAN consider getting us one!!! so yayyyyyyyyyy!! Birthday + Christmas double present taken into considerations. LCD Tv for the melbourne home taken into consideration...

So i take into MY considerations that this is a pretty good news and a pretty darn good Christmas wishes/Dear Santa/dreams/wants/desires/needs/love....hahaha a good Christmas love!!! I'm ecstatic!!! Being away from home, all these love is unquestionable that its' substantial! *grin*

it's really like "Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is..." and Santa's got that lil sock for you that will make you grinning evilly! haha getting almost exactly what you've wished for Christmas!

the bf and I took a stroll today after work...from work to the city, from the city along Federation Square, and from Fed Square to home...

the city was getting dead after work but everywhere we walked were all posted up with SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE signs!!! like seriously everywhere...all the shops were closing for Christmas while posters were put up, getting ready for the biggest stocktake sale for boxing day!! wheeeeee discounts discounts discounts and MORE discounts!

seriously the SALE is sooooooooooooooooooooo HUGE! Passed by Bettina Liano, up to 50%. Passed by Miss Sixty, up to 70%. MNG 50%, Myer SALE SALE SALE...Polo Ralph Lauren up to 50%. Armani Exchange 50%....OMG! I can't f**king wait!! So excited about boxing day sale! What's better? We were paid in advance for work...so that we can have our cash ready for boxing day sale! How awesome is that!!!!

anyhoooooo the environment at work today was fabulous! Everyone is hyped about Christmas. I got a lil gift from me colleague. hehe how thoughtful! Cousin baked me rum fruit cakes and made Christmas cookies. Awwwww Christmas overseas. It's really the Christmas feelings that I get. It's like the first day of Chinese New Year for me...LOL just in the westernized way! haha Although, it ain't that happening...it's a quiet and peaceful Christmas I would say!

It's Winter Solstice (冬至) today...an important solar term in the lunar calendar which is also a traditional festival celebrated by us...the Chinese. To date, we maintain this customs of celebrating the festival of winter solstice and it's common practise for the family to have reunion dinner. Since I'm away from home this year...the bf and I had dinner with my cousin sis, cousin-in-law, nephew, and uncle, aunty who happens to be in Melbourne for my cousin bro's graduation.

As part of the tradition, we had our "tong yuen"...a must for this day. hehe better known as glutionus rice ball that is made of rice flour. Obviously, we do not get those the same like back home which is homemade in white or red colour and served with sweetened liquid. We had it the restaurants way...haha glutionus rice balls with soya bean. yummylicious. I remember when I was younger, grandma made these tong yuens and told us that each one of us have to eat the amount of balls that are equivalent to our age. Say 10 years old = 10 tong yuens. OMG. That means this year i was meant to have like 23+1 (plus 1 because in Chinese traditions, we always add an extra year to our current age. don't know why but this is how it works in the chinese calendar. So...haha yea, i'm like a year older).

wahahahaha, anyway, went to my cousin's home in Sanctuary Lake. Took a picture of her place, hoping to show my parents. You can see a lil of my lovely white civic in the photo. hehe still in love with me car. Also, you'll notice a "playhouse" below of my nephews....kids nowadays...and the toys they get...envyyyyyyyy...

This is what I did to the bf...A punishment for him because he said that he's not gonna do anything for my birthday. Said that there will be NO plans, NOBODY to celebrate with me and he WILL go back to M'sia. the mom just called. Asking how am I, what I'm doing, have I eaten, when am I going home...

OMG. Then realized how much I miss home! *sobs* It's the time of the year again...i'm alone here with the D while the whole family is back home...

*sigh* talked to mom about making a trip back home early next year. A plan to visit Taiwan and Hong Kong with the sis next year or perhaps a trip to somewhere somewhen in March with the parents...*sobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbs* I really realize how much I miss home and how much I want to be home right now!

The only thing that could possibly cheer me up now is...?? The fact that mom said that IF plan to Taiwan/HK with the sis fails...Mom will accompany me instead!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee mom also said that I can arrange a trip with her! Told mom that I wanna go to UK if possible and she said...IF i can find a company there, i've have an ALL-expenses paid trip!!!!!!!!!!

It was a fairly comfortable and wonderful day with continuous sunshine today. With a little cool breeze, with plenty of air flow even if you stayed in the shades....Love love love the weather! A bit of both...summer-ish and spring-ish. Hehehe met up with Chazzie for our usual Starbucks get-together, brunch, shopping...doing our girly-girly stuff...hehe

... who took me on tour along the bridge from the city to SouthBank...LOL, you'll be surprised that though i've been in Melbourne for more than 6 years...been here longer than Chaz, but this is the FIRST time ever that I took a stroll along this bridge, crossing over Yarra River. hahaha Chaz was shocked when I told her it was my first...felt a bit embarrassed for a moment there when she went like "Har?!? You haven't walked through 'ere before??"...and my answer was like..."Errrrr, NO??? hahahahhaha"

a perfect view of the tallest office/residential building in Melbourne...which also happens to be Chazzie's crib. OoOOOooo...and I did my shopping too...haha a lil damage 'ere...ooo and got me bag from the parents too..hehe the burberry from Jepun...hehe bought some camisoles today..haha bought a couple...just in different colours..feeling summer-ish...haha while I was writing this blog entry, the aunt called...asking me what I was gonna get the bro for his 21st. The aunt just got him a PS3...as he yearned for...finally got it. Knew it that the bro will get that...somehow. somewhen. just a matter of who gets it for him. LOL. Ain't too sure what the sis and I will get him yet though..but mmmm

The bro told me to get him some T-shirts during Boxing day sale and I mentioned, fine, i will get them for his 21st .. and he went like "NO, i will pay you back for them...and u can get me something else for the bday"...omg. bah. haha but oh well, will get him something else anyhoo..depending on the sis. It's his 21st so its fine. Can consider spending more...oh well, who ask him to be the youngest. *spoiled*

I just did something very satisfying. LOL. I was trying to watch Project Runway on Foxtel when the D decided to keep disturbing me and distract myself away from the show...Thus, I took a revenge! LOL and boy was the revenge s-w-e-e-ttttttttttt.

I was munching on some raisins...and *blink*blink*...the idea came on my mind. Happily munched the raisins while the D was coming soooooooo close to disturb me, that I decided to ask him to kiss me. hahahaha and so he did, i stuck the WHOLE raisin in his mouth and he just backed off and spitted the whole dang thing out!!! haahahahhahahahhahahah he just ran as far as he could, spit the raisin out, wash his mouth over and over again!

LOL! revenge IS sweet. Just in case you peeps did not know, the D HATES raisins!! hahaha like totally HATE it HATE it HATE it. Apparently, his mom fed him some raisins when he was younger and god knows what happened...he hated it since then! LOL.

After THAT kiss...haha he left me alone and here I am, happily doing my own stuff without having my privacy invaded. wahahahhhahahahahahhaha he is now approximately 10 feets away from me? hahahahahahahaha that expression just then was priceless!

I've got 1500 Kudos!!!

Woohoooooooo. I won 1500 Kudos points at work yesterday. Kudos is a reward program that allows us to earn points at work from excellent performances, good KPIs (key performance indicator), participations and great contributions to the company. It's also a motivational system that allows us to hit targets and perform well at work.

When we accumulate enough points, we can exchange for goods like Nintendo DS, PSP, LCD tvs, Dvd players and paid day/week off. I was awarded for great participation and excellent performance during training to be upskilled!! woohooooo...it's a great sense of satisfaction for me and haha, it motivates me cos i'm targetting to earn myself a Nintendo DS or a LCD tv!!! hahahahahaha

the other day, there was a career expo at work...had other great opportunities to venture into other departments at work and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to enquire and apply for the management department. So, its' all good. Enjoying myself at work. It's casual, work environment is perfect, my team leader is the bomb, no complaints so far. Flexible off-work time. Still planning my trip back home. Should be able to take up to 3 months of leave. Fingers crossed that my leave will be approved. Definitely going back for CNY. Just a matter of how long and its when all the planning comes into the picture.

It's gonna be my first time spending new years and my birthday overseas. hmmm wonder how it's gonna be like. Due to work commitments, i doubt i'll be spending new years and birthday back home. I'm sad but at the same time, I have to deal with it. so, looking on the brighter side...there are crazy sales during christmas!! hehehe boxing day is mad!!! can't wait! =)

How mad can this be??? It's really so NEAR yet so FARRRRRRRRr!@!!@!!!

Last Friday, my trainer at work gave me a flyer that says "Playground: Justin Timberlake's Official White or Black Party" Saturday 17th November 2007 and the after party falls on the EXACT same day as when I was gonna watch the concert with the bro. As a proof of the flyer...check my photos out...and I think you'll feel MY pain when you read on...*sobs*

Needless to say, i did NOT believe these rumours, was contemplating about going or not, but ended up NOT going cos I choose to believe that these were just rumours and that Justin Timberlake would NOT appear at this Club Seven which is like smacked right BEHIND my house!!!! Like say 5 minutes WALK or less?!?!? It's also a club where I go almost EVERY Friday!!!!!!!! ARghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a bummer??? I should have went cos LOOK what happened?!??!!?!

My shopping items were probably the only thing that could cheer me up again after knowing that I missed JT by like a lil tiny weeny itsy bitsy bit!!!

thank god for these items. Nothing big. Nothing extraordinary. Just a lil something that really made my day.

D, the bro and I had dinner at Nobu just then. A well-known dining place owned by Nobu Matsuhisa, partnered with Robert De Niro. I have to say that Nobu is a reputable and recommendable dining place that i truly suggest you all to try. One of the best restaurants that i've tried so far for the year. =)

Variety is good. Service is good. Environment is good. Most importantly, food is good. A pretty affordable price too! *wink* A MUST TRY specialty - "Black Cod with Miso". We had lots of food.

Other yummylicious dishes that we've tried included: Sauteed Mushroom Salad, Spinach Salad with Whitefish, Squid Pasta with Light Garlic Sauce, Prawns with Spicy Garlic Sauce, Chicken Anti-Cucho Skewers, House Special Sushi Roll and the list goes on. Last but not least, desserts! MUST TRY - Suntory Whisky Cappucino + Milk Ice-Cream + Crunchy Coffee Cacao + Coffee Creme Brulee. A VERY satisfied dinner. =D

Ooooo I've got one photo of our dessert, our Ice-cream Lollipops. The taste was fantastic. Very special indeed again! It's a small lolli that costs like AUD 2.50 each but it was on the house. The waitress that served us treated us *grin*.

For the huge amount of food that we tried, it costs me in total of AUD 250, which i thought is a pretty good amount. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee so so so so so so so so satisfied with the food. D and the bro thought the same. I've never had a meal that I was smiling from the moment I tasted the food until I finished it for quite some time now. LOL!

hahaha I truly recommend all to try it if you have the chance too! I rate it 9/10!!!

I cooked pan mee on Sunday. One of my all-time favourite dish which i've yet to try cooking. First attempt. First try. And it was successful! Had my 2 guinea pigs, Mr. D and me bro to try it but the outcome turned out better than I expected! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

awwwwwwwww so touched...

Had a "witheld" call early this morning at 06:19am while i was snoozing away and had another "witheld" call to wake me up at 15:11pm.

All my calls were from my beloved friends who were attending / attended this event here and all having a fun fun after party...was so blur with that early morning call when Jasmine called with the whole group to tell us that they miss our presence and all...awww I was touched guys! I could hear Shirley, Siew Khuan, Joanne, Eugene, Seng Kar etc etc by the background..all taking turns to shoutout...

The afternoon wake up call? Was from King. Again, with the bunch...with Seng Kar, Kok Wing, Jayz etc etc all in the background...telling us how they were partying, talked about the D and I, missing it all, missing the presence. awwwwwwww *sobs*sobs*

How I wish that I could be there at this very point of time. Same goes to D. Hmmm all the fun we're missing..and most importantly...the company! the greatest company. Awwwwwwwwww I miss home. My blog is dying...I have absolutely NOTHING to blog about. How boring! *frowns*

oh well...it has been all about work work and work. Sent my car for a service with D this morning. Took a stroll along Chapel St. Saw many many lovely dresses and pretty pretty shoes that i'm _______________________ THAT tempted to buy. Spring is here but it's a spring with winter weather. How sad. I can't put on my pretty dresses with my flip-flops cos it's freezinggggg cold. I want the sun! I wanna look pretty in my dresses!

It's almost the end of October. Daylight savings this Sunday. Summer is around the corner...but WHY? Why is it still so cold?

Let me recap. What have I been doing for the last 4 months being back in Melb? I was at Lavish last Friday for their 3rd anniversary. Ended with a pretty great after party! LOL. Photos are up on my Facebook. YES I AM... a facebook addict! I'm not even bothered about Friendster/Multiply anymore. it's ALL about facebook-ing now! It's fun. I can't deny. Way too many applications to follow up with...but it's still FUN! *grin*

Should be clubbing again this Friday at Seven. Saturday at Boulevard for Em's 23rd birthday. That's my initial plan. Shall see how it all goes. Saw videos of Chris's wedding on Marc my camwhore buddy's blog. I missed the fun. I missed the wedding. I missed the company. I miss home. I miss Jolyne dearie and her darling booo WaiSoon...my clubbing partners who has now relocated at London...and that's like at the other end of the world. I miss my biatch Gis. I miss Marciano my camwhore buddy. I miss YueWeng my chit-chat buddy. I miss Carmen Yeo my skip-work-to-lunch + fag partner. I miss EeLing my Capricorn dearie. Oh noz...the list is neverending.

*sigh* its not like as if I'm not enjoying myself her well in Aussieland. It's just the moments that I miss. The greatest moments that I had 'holidaying' back home! I think I need a break. Need a break from Melb perhaps? I don't know. I just whine as always. LOL! I'm definitely looking forward to a good holiday back home year end or perhaps early next year? I've never spent new year's away from my homieee...Wonder how it's like. I wonder at the same time, I choose NOT to cos I don't wanna miserably spend my b-day overseas...and being away from my beloved company!

I have boo boo but still. We shall see. Shall see what my plans will be for the next 2 months! Oh noz. October is ending. November is nearing. December is around the corner...2008 is coming!!! Time to recap a good long year or 2007!

Retail therapy and beauty therapy makes me feel good and happy...*GRIN*

Pampered myself with some beauty therapy last night to begin my weekend. It was indeed a very very good feeling. Especially, when you start earning your own money and spend it "wisely" accordingly. LOL!

Today? A lil bit of retail therapy and that really made my weekend! haha Nizz and I went shopping at the Bettina Liano sales in Moonee Ponds. Joined my bro later for some streetwear sales at Fitzroy. It was too cold and I only had thin layer of clothes on me...hence, I got a sweater. Ya ya. You all will tell me it's an excuse...haha but it was really cold ok...hehe and just a lil something the D.

This is MY damage to my bank account. Well, at least now I can say it is damages to my own account...hehe cos i'm earning my own money. Maybe it should be enuff of shopping for now...or well, at least until my next pay! hahah it's never enuff for me..and especially girls! Agree?? =P

awwww the feeling of shopping and getting goodies. Never enuff. It just makes you happy and you really feel good about it after shopping. It's definitely one of my way to release any stress! hahaha have a good weekend peeps! *muaks*

Caesar salad and Roast Lamb + potatoes for dinner = Y.U.M.M.Y.L.I.C.I.O.U.S the D and I got so sick of eating out...I decided to cook again. Have been neglecting cooking for quite a bit now that i'm busy doing a casual job. So, I smarty pants decided to cook roast lamb and caesar salad! woohoo...LOL! I cooked while the D made poached eggs!! yooohoooo he makes good poach eggss...haha at least he knows how to and trust me...it's good! Everything just nice!

A mail all the way from Hong Kong...and who else could it be from?? It's NONE other than my dear friend Katz! I'm really surprised and touched! SRI KL (the school I once attended for 12 years...)

NOW I know where ALL the money we paid for our school fees during high school went to...

RM3800per term was what my parents have been paying until I left high school in Year 2000. All we had was a simple classroom with air-condition ONLY in my final year at school. A lousy and dodgy canteen. Lockers where you ONLY get IF you're lucky and picked by the numbers drawn. So-called computer labs with NEW Mac computers where you only get to use like ONCE of twice. A football field where practically more than half of the grass were dried and gone! The lousy facilities goes on and on for the price we pay for...

Then when my younger bro was in his final years of school, my parents were paying like RM 5OOO per term?? He still got to 'enjoy' a lil bit better facilities than us...new Polo-T uniforms at least, though its ugly orange in colour...

I'm so stuffed from dinner!!! Had a 6-course dinner at Fifteen, the well-known restaurant founded and owned by Jamie Oliver. Went just earlier with Mr. Ong! The food was overall not bad. Something different I would say. Quite unique. Dessert was good. Appetizers were special. Main was nice. Overall rating 8/10.

anyhoo, the other night...when WeiKeing and the sis came to Melb for a visit, I took them for dinner at Claypot Seafood Restaurant at St. Kilda...a spot that I truly recommend you Melbournian peeps to give it a try!

yummylicious seafood that's cheap and worth the wait! A nice seafood restaurant that doesn't allow booking due to high consumers demand...waited for an hour that night for a table of 4. Worth waiting, definitely! The food is good and it's really cheap! AUD 150 for 4 pax...inclusive of a seafood platter, Garlic king prawns per person and fish cutlets! yummmmmmmmm...would love to go there again!

I forgot my camera that night! For ONCE, I forgot my camera...hmmm thank god, I had my 3.2 megapixel Sony Ericsson k800i with me that was good and sufficient enuff to take photos at a moderate photo quality! And...this is it...

oh nooo...a damage to my bank account and parent's credit card perhaps! hahaha Fred Perry is ON SALE!!! Thanks to HuiMin...telling me what good bargains they have...the bro and I headed off to grab some goodies! 50% of everything we bought for the day! hahaha

Met up with Chaz for lunch. She too splurged some cash on Fred Perry goodies!

Ohhh...this according to Chaz is NOT exactly MY damage...cos I've gotten a voucher on credit note...that was initially meant to be my sister's goodies from Melbourne from my aunt. The sis didn't like her shoes...so she wanted a refund...and Charles and Keith don't do refunds but only credit notes...so yay! I got MY pair of shoes instead...haha a free gift for me perhaps?? *LOL*

And this!!!! My new phone!! Has been contemplating which phone to get since my contract ended in March. Thought that i'll be a good girl and get dad a phone as he needed one badly...but sadly, when the dad was over in Melbourne...he couldn't decide on a new phone...so he ended up going back to Malaysia using my 3G phone...and today, while 'window shopping', I spotted this new Sony Ericsson w580i and I instantly fell in love with it...no 3G...just an ordinary walkman phone but i'm totally in love with it cos it's white in colour...AND after getting my first 3G sony ericsson phone...i'm beginning to love sony phones more!!! Thus...i got this new phone!! it's put to charge now...can't wait to use it!!!!

Best part? It's a slide phone...i've always wanted a slide phone! Was deciding between a Nokia E65, Nokia 6110 GPS phone or this...and i've decided on this! First thing...the colour. Second thing...it's a slide phone. 3rd thing...Sony Ericsson interfaces are cool! Fourth thing...this phone has a "shake-to-shuffle" function which allows me to change the mp3 tracks by just shaking the phone...fifth, a 512MB memory card is included (my older sony ericsson was non-inclusive of the memory stick and I had to purchase it seperately!) And LASTLY...I don't pay a cent for this phone! With my current plan, this phone is $0 ... soooooo I guess you peeps can understand that NOTHING is stopping me from getting this phone?? hahaha

muahahaha...retail therapy is the B-O-M-B....it makes you feel super duper uber good!!! i'm so happy! yay!!! that made my day...btw, it's merdeka eve tonight...apparently, there are some events out there...asian nights...celebrating the eve and counting down to Malaysia's independence day...guess we will be going out. Been busy lately. The parents just left on Saturday night...then up next, Wei Keing and his sister Soo Mei came for a visit on Friday. Spent the weekend here. WeiKeing left back to Malaysia last night, while his sis left for Adelaide this afternoon. Been busy showing them around Melbourne, taking them out for drinks, good food, shopping, clubs, casino...it was a great weekend spent! Life for me has been pretty busy since the day my parents touched down! I'm back! Back from the snows. Back from Falls Creek. Had a fantastic weekend..a weekend that started off with Classic Kandy on Friday night all the way until Saturday morning at 7ish..then headed straight off by coach to Falls Creek at 8ish.

Super duper tired weekend but super duper fun! Classic Kandy was great. Great ol' place. Old school trance music. Old crowd. Familiar environment. All in all great. Great company. Great fun.

Falls Creek wasn't any worse. In fact, it wasn't bad at all! No complains so far. Absolutely loving it! Tried snowboarding for the first time. Took a 2 hour lessons up in the mountain. Fell on my butt many many times. Lots of trials and errors...but it's all super duper worth it! Totally falling in love with snowboarding...comparing it to skiing...snowboarding is definitely a better choice! Going down the beginner's run..which was steep...that was absolutely amazing! You really gotta snowboard without fear of falling to really enjoy it. I really wanna snowboard again!!! *sobssss*

Been busy lately. Thus, less updates. The parents are here. Been busy entertaining. Driving them around. Out everyday from early till night. So much to do yet so little time. *faints*

Hitting the snows with the family tomorrow. 3 days 2 nights. It's gonna be fun. I can foresee it. *lol* Can so foresee myself coming back with lots of bruises and body aches that's for sure..but it's all worth it for the fun...snowboarding, here I come!

BUTTTTT before hitting the snows for the weekend...it's Classic Kandy - 17th August '07 @ Billboards tonighttttttt!!! Reminiscing the good ol' Hard Kandy days. Its a MUST go! Good line up. Hellraiser. Scott Alert. 10pm - 7am. yay!

Will update with more photos laters. My current/recent addiction is still Facebook. Can't seem to get enuff of it yet. *lol* photos uploaded there most of the time. Elsewise, multiply. ok! My bro just asked me this question that really cracked MY head and we can't find answers to it! WE wanna find out and can you all please help think it through? *lol*

3 person went for dinner. The total bill came up to RM25. So, each person took out RM 10 to pay for the bill which totals up to RM 30.

So RM30 - RM25 = RM5 (The Change Given)

For RM5 to be splitted by 3 is gonna make things difficult cos alot of decimal points will be involved.

So to make things EASIER, the waitress took RM2 from the RM 5...leaving RM3 to be divided by 3 person. That makes each person to get RM1 worth of change.

Initially each person paid RM10. With RM1 change each...that makes each person paying RM9(RM10-1 = RM9).

If you take RM9 multiplied by 3 person (RM9 x 3 = RM27)...that totals up to RM27.

Adding on to the RM2 that the waitress took, the total amount is RM29...(RM27 + RM2 = RM29)

So, WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT RM1 THAT IS MISSING???

Someone...PLEASE find me the answer. I need solution to this. I'm cracking my head up and I still can't think of the answer...*faints*

I HAVE met someone who says the same thing with the exact words at the same time as I do...and it's kinda freaky when I think of it sometimes...BUT this person has always been someone dearest to me. It's non other than....

A sunny + windy Friday...

The D and I had lunch...AND i finally had my "Nasi Goreng Ikan Asin (Anchovies) Petai" from Es Teller 77 (an Indonesian restaurant) AND my GreenTea Frappucino from Starbucks...like FINALLY after craving for these for a coupla of days...or should I say weeks! *lol*

I hate to admit this just so my bro would say "you see, you see...told you, it's fun and you'll be addicted"....

The folks are coming in 4 days time. Which means...yay to good food. yay to great company. yay to shopping??? kekeke and YAYYYYY to Falls Creek!

YES! The family and I are hitting the snows in approximately 8 days time! Managed to rent an apartment up in the mountains after many many phone calls made and travel agent visits! I the 'so-called' organizer for the trip was on the verge of giving up on the snows...until LUCKY us/me got an email from one of the apartment units in Fallz saying that there was a last minute cancellation and 1 apartment is up for grabs!

So yay! the folks, the bro, me and the 2 aunts will be hitting the snows! It's been a while since i skiied...I'm gonna snowboard this time! Can't wait. Absolutely excited. Hmmm, maybe i should shop for some skii gears...*lol* probably just another excuse to shop? But seriously, i do need gloves and a niceeeee beanie + a nice pair of shades? *lol* will see will see how it goes.

Shopping is *evil*...BUT it's FUN! *lol*

It gives you satisfaction. Especially when you get a really good deal! And this is my damage for today! AUD 99...A Carhartt Car-Lux Hooded Thermo Sweat which is perfecto for a cold winter! Guess what's MY good deal? Carhartt was on sale...and this sweater's original price was AUD 199.90...and YES, i got it at 50% less!!!

yay...super satisfied with my retail therapy! D got a Carhartt cap too!

i just cut my hair today. A friend of mine, David who is a hairstylist came over to my place to give me a new look! *bangs* *bangs* *bangs*

haha I wasn't used to it at first..when he cut my hair, I was like *OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG* it's so short! it looks funny! how how how? arghhhhhhhh how??? but once he was done...i look at it again...Hey! It's not too bad after all and I'm beginning to really like this new hairdo of mine!

He cut Dinson and my bro's hair too. Pretty impressive. Satisfied. And come on..he only charged us like little. Guys AUD 10. Me AUD 20. it's really cheap..cos if i were to cut it in a salon outside, it would cost me easily AUD 60-70...which does not turn out to be my style of liking! Tried once. Didn't like it. Never again. *lol* but yea, i'm pretty happy with the end result of my new bangs!

Know what's the best part? After trimming and layering off my natural thick hair...the thickness of my hair didn't seem to lessen at all! It's still alot. Haha...look at this!!! The amount of my hair trimmed is so much until when i showed Marc on the webcam...he thought it looked like a wig! Yes...it's THAT much! *lol*

I'm finally up and awake...after almost 2 days without sleep. Haha from partying since Friday night at Club Seven to hanging and chilling at my place with Dinson, Bryan, Charlene...to talking and yakking the whole night...to ending the day with a lil argument with D.

But it's all good now. Haha. It's been a while since i clubbed, partied OR went out of the house! it's been like 1 month of hibernating! That is probably why you peeps could understand why i didn't really want the fun night to end! haha but yea..had fun. Although it was a last minute decision to club...but it was all worth it.

It was my first time at this club Seven. Pretty nice place. A huge space. Crowd ain't too bad. 3 rooms. 1 r&b. 1 trance. 1 house. But there was a fight at the trance room...I seem to be hearing quite alot of fighting stories about this club lately though..ahh people. drunk. messed up. hehe shit happens. anyway, back to what happened...apparently someone got stabbed with a broken beer bottle. Seemed kinda serious though. Paramedics came to rescue...so hmmm you could have imagined.

Yea...messy messy. Anyway, i'm still quite drained from the weekend and partying. haha after endless training back in Malaysia with every Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays of clubbing...I can't deny the fact that I seem quite lousy coping again with the clubbing nights! haha well, can't say though..cos i stopped clubbing for more than 2 months now. So, haha it's about getting used to it again! hehe wokie dokies...think i've said enuff. Drained. Tired. Zoning in and out. haha I shall let the photos do the talking!

I wanna go HERE... But, but, but...they only take in bookings which are 2 months in advanced! YES and I can't go RIGHT now!! *sobs*sobs* should have made reservations much earlier! I knew about this 2 month booking thingy...but I thought it was only for the start of their business! I didn't know it's an all-year-round thingy!

Was just watching Jamie Oliver on Foxtel earlier and the bro just mentioned about this place that i've almost forgotten that it existed in Melbourne. Haha. Yea, the bro was suggesting that we should tryout some AUD 90 per person course thingy and it sounded really really tempting. Thus, leaving me to check their website out...only to find out that we need to book 2 months in advanced. Dang! and so I thought we could bring mom there when she visits in 2 weeks time.

Guess i'll have to save it for laterz! Another time perhaps and I don't know when that'll be.
