Ooooops seems like i've been neglecting my blog once again!
Hahaha anyway, the past week has been quite a busy one for me! As some of you probably have already known, i've gotten a job and YES, it is again back to the media industry! I loveeee it! So, it was my first week at work since Tuesday...work has been great so far. Work colleagues are awesome...work environment is even better!
Just imagine having an opened concept work place + nice people around ... and what makes it better??? We get unlimited supply of beer, wine (red + white), champagne, flavoured water, carbonated drinks, daily fresh fruits, a super duper uber nice coffee machine, the choice of milo, chamomile tea, green tea, english breakfast tea, chocolate powder, biscuits, snacks, chocolate bars and not forgetting the year long supply of Nestle ice-cream!!!
What more could you ask for? Drinks started at 4pm on Friday! Everyone's desk was just filled with alco! Me being a newbie, we kinda had an orientation where another newbie and I had to go around asking every colleague if they wanted any drinks, and mind you, we gotta serve them as well! We were walking around in a trolley! Gosh! But that was absolutely fun! I really do love the work culture here..

Back home, whenever the clock strikes 6pm and you wanna leave...everyone will give you the "glare" and asks "Wahhhh you go home so early? Finish work ar?? =__________=".... but for here, when the clock strikes 5.30pm, everyone will ask you "You're not going home yet?"...With the current exchange rates and all...it makes me alot happier to be earning wages in Aussie dollars! Even if I don't compare, dollar to dollar, I still get paid better!
LOL...I guess, I won't be going back to Malaysia for a while...not at least until, i've gotten some overseas experience...which i've always been targeting to do!
On Friday, it was also our office's Bake Club Day! This apparently happens weekly where a couple of the rostered colleagues have to bake or make something from scratch to make every one happy!
So ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaa! This is what they made! A choo-choo-train cake! With lollies and chocolates on it! How awesome is that?
It's only the first week of work and I can't stop praising what a fantastic work environment I have! Let's see what's gonna happen in the upcoming weeks! I'll probably be cursing left right for the work load...haha but then again, how could anyone possibly complain about the work load when you have so many other facilities to motivate an employee?!?
Furthermore, clients here ARE demanding...but they'll understand what is called "ON HOLD" or a tight deadline which they have to abide by!
I think in Malaysia and handling Samsung account, you will never ever get that! The clients would only think "I want it NOW, when I demand!"...
Oh well, that's life!
Besides work, we've spent the last weekend celebrating darling's 28th birthday and I prepared steamboat + BBQ for him. Had some friends over, few drinks, mahjong session and a surprise with cake...so yea! that was it :)...Some photos will do the talk...
Alrightey...that's about it for tonight's post! Gotta get ready for another round of hotpot! :)
